English: Nasmith House, at the junction of Fair Street and Tower Bridge Road, Bermondsey, London SE1. The headquarters of London City Mission, built on the footings of the demolished parish church of St John, Horsleydown, which was severely damaged by a Luftwaffe bomb in 1940 and was demolished after 1968. The churchyard had been a park since long before the War and was restored by the London Borough of Southwark in 2002. |
