English: Loch na Lannach Another of the brackish, slightly tidal lochs which are characteristic of this coast. Here, blanket bog appears to have been invaded by the sea, which is unusual. The names translates as "loch of the mullet", which is presumably because the fish are well-known for invading tidal and brackish waters in search of their largely vegetarian diet. |
