Description Given their difference in size, it is an uncommon sight to see a plateau lizard (Sceloporus tristichus) consuming a desert spiny lizard (Sceloporus magister). However, this plateau lizard takes advantage of this juvenile desert spiny lizard’s size- but it seems to have bitten off more than it can chew. NPS Photo/Christopher Gezon
