Summary
[edit]DescriptionLiverpool Lime Street - south side.jpg |
A merged view of the southern half of Liverpool Lime Street railway station. On the left is platform 7, and an adjacent disused and currently unnumbered platform. Waiting at here with an express service to London Euston is Virgin West Coast Class 390 Pendolino EMU 390048. In the centre of the image is the large space between platforms 7 and 8, probably formerly at at least two other platforms. Behind them is Virgin West Coast Class 390 EMU 390051, between express services from and to London Euston. On the right is the spacious southern part of the concourse, the northern part (behind the camera) is a much more crowded area the ticket office, shops, pubs and refreshment stands. |
