English: Littleport railway station photo-survey (3) Looking east as Class 365 unit 365532 passes the level crossing at the south end of Littleport station on an up (southbound) service to London.
Littleport station is on the ex-Great Eastern Rly route from London to Kings Lynn. It has two platforms, one for up (London-bound) traffic and one for down (Kings Lynn) traffic. The route between Cambridge and Kings Lynn is now known as 'The Fen Line' and passenger services are operated by First Capital Connect. The line is electrified on the 25KV AC overhead system and passenger services use electric multiple unit trains of Class 317 and Class 365. |
