Summary
[edit]DescriptionLittle Egret (40016250514).jpg | Around the 1500's Little egrets ceased to breed in the UK and all but vanished - being seen only as rare passing vagrants up until the late 1900's. Around 1996 breeding pairs began to appear in Dorset and over the years spread along the South of England and into Wales. They can often been seen in along the Thames and in large numbers on Port Meadow in Oxford. |
