Description
English: A few of the dish antennas of the Very Large Array a radio telescope located in Socorro, New Mexico, USA. Completed in 1980, it consists of 27 large 25 meter diameter parabolic antennas arranged in a Y shape, mounted on railroad tracks (visible at bottom) so they can be moved. Photo taken on North American road trip, 2009-08, filtered, edited.
