Summary

[edit]
Description
English: plots the concentration of ATP determined in isolated brain tissue after different length of time in the cold and anoxia (time indicated in number of hour near each data point in a similar cold and anoxic isotonic NaCl.) The data demonstrated increasing swelling with decreasing ATP contents. The maximum swelling and hence highest water content was found in brain tissue containing the least amount of ATP after the longest period of cold and anoxic exposure
