Français : Le 12 août 1944, au lieu-dit« Les Quatre Chênes », commune de Domont (aujourd’hui dans le Val-d’Oise), un franc-tireur isolé fait feu sur deux soldats allemands, dont un capitaine. La réplique est sanglante. Deux hommes sont fusillés sur place,Eugène Duhamel et Henri Morlet. Un groupe d’enfants est mitraillé : Robert Meunier, 15 ans, s’écroule criblé de balles. Un passant, Robert Arrondeau est abattu ; sa femme se précipite vers sa dépouille en hurlant « Assassins ! »une grenade lui explose au visage…
Le 15 août, à la gare de Pantin (aujourd’hui en Seine-Saint-Denis) un commando SS extrait d’un convoi de déportés en partance pour les camps, le colonelAndré Rondenay, patriote ayant gagné l’Angleterre dès 1942, parachuté en France, spécialiste du sabotage industriel, prisonnierévadé… Il est emmené avec Louis Lebauge, André Baude, Roger Claie, Alain de Beaufort, jusque dans la clairière des« Quatre Chênes » où ils sont massacrés. Le 13 août, à Nerville-la-Forêt (Val d’Oise) un groupe de maquisards fait deux prisonniers allemands finalement libérés en rase campagne. Deux jours plus tard un détachement SS, comptant quelques français en son sein, encercle le village, l’incendie et rassemble les Nervillois âgés de 16 à 30 ans. Treize d’entre eux sont massacrés : Alviset Pierre, Debris Jacques, Defontaine Auguste, Douay Henri, Duclos Paul, Duret Robert, Gourrier Robert, Grandjean Georges, Harlay Marcel, Lamart Lucien, Lerouge Louis, Queux Robert, Sadier Henri.
