Description

Centre - Place du Vingt Août The original building dates from 1779 but it was burnt down by the Germans during the First World War on August 20, 1914. In 1939, the Free Emulation Society had a neoclassical building rebuilt in the same place. Arch. Julien Koenig 1939

The Théâtre de la Place, renamed Théâtre de Liège, moved into the completely renovated building on September 30, 2013.
