Description
English: Lhoknga beach in Aceh

Lhok Nga beach sits at the west tip of Sumatra Island. This beach is in Lhoknga town not far from Banda Aceh, capital of Aceh Province. It was hit by 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, killing most of its people and damaging cement factory in the area.

The wave is great for surfing and is already well known by surfer communities.
