Letters written by school age children from Camp Pendleton and addressed to Lieutenant General Walter E. Boomer upon his return from the Persian Gulf. The letters contain art work and references to the Marines' overseas deployments. "Dear Lt. General Boomer, How are you? Thank-you for doing such a wonderful job. Also Thank-you for bringing my dad home. Did you see any camels? We were learning about camels. Do you know some stuff about camels? I hope you had fun at the ice cream party.
