| Inscription | -6- I'm really afraid I'll be too old when this is over. If it should en in '49 which it likely will, I'll be 25 or 26 years old and you know, dad, that's a little too late in life to start school. Another thing is that I doubt if I'll ever get married. I have no love for any girl what so ever. But as most folks say the right one may come along, but it looks doubtful to me. If any thing should happen to you folks I might marry for companionship, but even that is doubtful when I think it over. It's really a funny world for a fellow at my age, dad, especially when his fortune is so uncertain. Time will explain a lot of thing I guess. In the mean time I'll try to save a little cash and take your advise dad!!! Have been going to mass as often as posible, sometimes 4 & 5 times weekly |
