Čeština: V popředí stojící Josef Kábele (1891–1980) – český strojní zámečník, automechanik, zlepšovatel technických řešení různých výrobků, objevitel, vynálezce, experimentátor a průkopník létání v Čechách na „létajícím jízdním kole“ vlastní konstrukce se „šlapacím“ pohonem vrtule lidskou silou. Za ním se nachází ještě plátnem a dýhou nepotažený letoun před sokolovnou v Chrasti u Chrudimi. Vzadu za letadlem stojí oba učni, kteří Josefu Kábelemu asistovali při jediném pokusném letu v roce 1936, kdy se letoun poškodil.
English: In the foreground is Josef Kábele (1891-1980) - a Czech mechanical locksmith, car mechanic, an improviser of technical solutions for various products, discoverer, inventor, experimenter and pioneer of flying in Bohemia on a "flying bicycle" of his own design driven by human power. Behind him there is a airplane (not yet covered with canvas and veneer) in front of the Sokol-house in Chrast at Chrudim. Behind the plane stand the two apprentices who assisted Josef Kábele during the only test flight in 1936, when the plane was damaged. |
