Description

Lepiota lilacea Bres.

Image location: Brookfield, Wisconsin, USA

Very small Lepiotas found growing in wood chip mulch, in urban habitat; no color change (yellow or red etc) upon bruising or cutting with knife; growing singly (not cespitose) in large troops in several locations. Annulus white above and dark coloration below.
