Description
English: Plants of Gibbous Duckweed, Lemna gibba, floating on the surface of a pool. In the summertime, the plants look "humpbacked" and not as flat as the similar Lesser Duckweed, Lemna minor.
Deutsch: Auf der Oberfläche eines Tümpels treibender Bestand der Buckligen Wasserlinse (Lemna gibba). Im Hochsommer haben die Sprossglieder dieser Art nicht nur unterseits ein aufgeblähtes Schwammgewebe, sondern wirken auch auf der Oberseite etwas gewölbter als die der flacheren, sonst ähnlich aussehenden Kleinen Wasserlinse, Lemna minor.
