The valley of river Leine between Göttingen and Niedernjesa in Lower Saxony, Germany. de: Der Leinegraben zwischen Göttingen und Niedernjesa in Norddeutschland. Blick in Richtung Nordosten, im Hintergrund der Göttinger Wald, an dessen Hang die oberen Bereiche von Göttingen-Geismar. Der Leinegraben ist eine Niederung im südlichen Niedersachsen. Sie erstreckt sich mit etwa 40 km Länge in ungefähr nord-südlicher Richtung (entsprechend dem Oberrhein als „rheinisch“ bezeichnet) von Einbeck und Markoldendorf über Northeim und Göttingen bis Friedland und wird vom Fluss Leine durchflossen. |
