| Description |
Front 3/4 view showing the chimney and overall build. I followed the general layout of the kit instructions but made changes where necessary to convert the building to a modular. I added standard modular staircases instead of the brick-built ones from the kit. Changed the lines of the roof by eliminating the 'pyramid' top. The roof railings are re-designed for a cleaner look. The interior walls are a single brick thickness, a lot of the original was 2 bricks. The building is 2 studs wider, and 2 studs deeper to allow for more side windows. This used about 1.5 kits worth of parts, plus some bits from my personal collection, and a BrickLink order for stairs and window glass. |
