Leccinellum lepidum (H. Bouchet ex Essette) Bresinsky & Manfr. Binder Image location: Serra de São Mamede, Portugal I’m used to seeing Leccinum lepidum in Parque de Monsanto (Lisbon) and, in general, the specimens are more stylish and do not have as rough a hat or so dark. Furthermore, the reaction when cutted is not so intense. However, I found no alternative to the classification of specimens. Recognized by sight: only two species of boletaceae grow in this time of the year :L.lepidum and L.corsicum. The latter is more slender and with cistus. This is 100% lepidum though
