| Description |
Bahasa Indonesia: Lebah kayu atau sering disebut dengan carpenter bee merupakan lebah yang berukuran besar dan berbulu.
Lebah kayu bisa ditemukan di seluruh dunia. Lebah kayu memiliki nama ilmiah Xylocopa violacea. Di seluruh dunia, ada sekitar 500 spesies lebah kayu. Hewan ini dinamakan lebah kayu karena mereka membuat sarang dengan cara menggali lubang pada kayu atau pada batang pohon yang besar.
