Description
English: Presiden Joko Widodo membuka Pertemuan Para Pemimpin ASEAN dengan Perwakilan Majelis Antar-Parlemen ASEAN atau ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) di Komodo Ballroom, Meruorah Convention Center, Labuan Bajo, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, Rabu, 10 Mei 2023. Pertemuan tersebut digelar dalam rangkaian Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) ke-42 ASEAN tahun 2023.

Dalam sambutannya, Presiden Jokowi menekankan pentingnya penguatan kolaborasi antara pemerintah dengan parlemen negara ASEAN. Kolaborasi tersebut diharapkan dapat menjaga dan memperkuat stabilitas politik dan demokrasi di kawasan.

“Kolaborasi pemerintah dan parlemen harus diperkuat untuk menjaga dan memperkokoh stabilitas politik dan demokrasi guna menjamin ASEAN menjadi epicentrum of growth,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.
