Le Rangamandapa du temple de Virupaksha à Hampi (Vijayanagar) Au fond, l'entrée dans le sanctuaire (interdit aux non-hindous) Ce mandapa a été ajouté au complexe du temple en 1510 par l'empereur Krishadeva Raya. La Ranga Mandapa est un mandapa ouvert sur l'extérieur et soutenu par des piliers sculptés avec des figures de Yali. Le Yali est un animal mythique / en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yali_(Hindu_mythology) Le plafond du mandapa est peint de scènes mythologiques. Ce type de mandapa est caractéristique du style de Vijayanagar.
