Description
English: La desserte (Harmonie rouge, La Chambre rouge) / Red Room (Harmony in red)

L'encadrement laisse volontairement dépasser la peinture d'origine qui était à dominante bleue (voir sur le coté la bande colorée en vert-bleu) comme l'avait commandé S. Chtchoukine à Matisse mais ce dernier a changé d'avis et a préféré le rouge. Le collectionneur n'a pas protesté et a accepté le tableau en l'état.
