Description

San Cataldo a été fondée à l'époque normande (12ème siècle) et a été le siège de l'ordre des Chevaliers du Saint Sépulcre. Elle est dans un style arabe caractérisé par sa forme carrée, ses merlons dentelés, ses arcatures et ses coupoles rosées.

L'intérieur est structuré en 3 nefs séparées par des colonnes antiques de réemploi.

Le pavement en mosaïque de marbre polychrome date de la construction.
