Estampe contrecollée en plein sur un montage qu'elle partage avec une autre estampe de la même suite ; une légende en français a été collée au-dessus de l'image.

Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: Marque du musée - En partie inférieure droite, tampon à l'encre violette : "VILLE / DE / PARIS" (Lugt suppl. 2012C).
Description iconographique:

Représentation du massacre des protestants de Sens par la population catholique. La grange servant au culte est représentée dans l'angle supérieur gauche, durant sa destruction. À l'intérieur des remparts, à l'arrière-plan, des hommes en armes vident les greniers, pillent les maisons et percent les tonneaux ; le centre de l'estampe montre une place sur laquelle se concentrent les scènes de tuerie, tandis que l'Yonne, dans laquelle sont jetés les cadavres dénudés, occupe le premier plan de l'image.
