Français : "Dessiné par Gilles Clément, le jardin fait partie intégrante du musée : jardin buissonnant, abrité de la rumeur du quai par une haute palissade de verre, il s’étend sur 18 000 m² et donne au flâneur (visiteur du musée, habitant du quartier, promeneur) une impression de foisonnement.
Lieu de nature et de culture, le jardin est une « invitation au voyage » : sentiers, petites collines, chemins dallés de pierre de torrent, bassins propices à la méditation et à la rêverie… 169 arbres et une trentaine d’espèces végétales sont ici rassemblés : chênes et érables côté nord, magnolias et cerisiers côté sud.
