Français : Domaine de Vert-Mont est construit en 1857 à la demande dr Gustave d’Eichtal, banquier d’origine allemande, par V. Hue, architecte à Rueil. Il le revend dix ans plus tard à Victor Paul Delacroix. Très endommagé par la guerre de 1870, le château est restauré en 1898 grâce aux célèbres bienfaiteurs de Rueil, Monsieur et Madame Tuck, qui en deviennent les propriétaires. Ils y habitent l’été, allant l’hiver sur la Côte d’Azur. Pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale, le château sera occupé par l’armée allemande, puis anglaise. Bien endommagé, il appartiendra ensuite à une Société Civile Immobilière, pour devenir en 1992 la propriété de l’Institut Français du Pétrole, qui y installe une fondation à vocation culturelle internationale.
