Kommentar: Prägemedaille. - Laura Bassi (1711-1778) erhielt 1732 den Doktortitel der Philosophie und wurde bald darauf als erste Frau zur Professorin für Physik an der Universität Bologna ernannt. 1776 wurde sie Mitglied der Akademie der Wissenschaften von Bologna.
