Summary

[edit]
Description This is a mass grave of those diggers who died on the Eureka battlefield. However many of those injured who escaped may have died later from their wounds and were subsequently buried in the bush. With the crushing of the rebellion martial law was in operation and bounties were issued for the capture of the digger leaders.
