Description
Français : La brèche dans la paissière permet de voir le dispositif orthogonal de poutres qui constitue l'armature charpentière de la paissière.

au fond le tirant est la poutre sommitale, en long, en front de paissière face au fleuve. A gauche l'arc-boutant relie la 1ère ligne ("palée") de poutres sommitales à une seconde ligne ("palée") en long. L'image permet de voir aussi le pavage très régulier de moellons "bien équarris" qui se trouve dans les cadre orthogonal tirant. arc-boutant.

L'humidité fait gonfler les poutres et resserre encore le pavage.
