Description

E’ una delle personalità più importanti nel panorama della canzone d’autore italiana e internazionale del nostro tempo… non ha mai smesso di sperimentare nuove soluzioni formali ed espressive contribuendo forse più di ogni altro autore a elevare la qualità poetico-musicale della canzone italiana. Lo specifico linguaggio poetico-musicale di Conte, in continua evoluzione, nasce dall’assorbimento e dalla personalissima rielaborazione di un’assai ampia varietà di repertori, stilemi, esperienze culturali…

Con questa motivazione l’Università di Pavia ha conferito a Paolo Conte la laurea magistrale honoris causa in Musicologia. Un riconoscimento dunque, anche in ambito accademico, dell’importanza primaria dell’aspetto musicale sia nel processo creativo “contiano”, sia nella formazione ed evoluzione del suo canzoniere. La cerimonia si è svolta a Cremona, sede dagli anni ’50 del Dipartimento di Musicologia e Beni culturali dell’ateneo pavese, lunedì 9 ottobre 2017 al Teatro Ponchielli.
