Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Lauder Light Railway A cutting on the trackbed of the Lauder Light Railway, which sneaks through the hills to Lauderdale from the Waverley Line. It was closed in 1957. Either side of the cutting is a standing crop of barley, the latest I have ever seen a crop out (7th October). It was raining at the time, and a combine was waiting the other side of Cortleferry for an illusive dry spell.
