| Description |
English: Lauder Light Railway. A very rural branch line that climbed over the hill from the Waverley Line along the Gala Water. This is now a green lane used to access fields, with a combine parked along the way. There was some cultivating going on just behind me. Another historic relic was the "Keep Out" sign on the gate.
The railway closed in 1932. |
