English: Late Saxon Penannular finger ring or ear ring, bent and slightly opened-out, D-sectioned, tapering to a point at both ends, one blunt and damaged, possibly broken, internal dimensions 15 x 17mm. Cf. Goodall in Rogerson and Dallas (1984) fig.110, nos.17-22. 11th century.
