Description
English: Late Roman (5th century CE) building ruins — in central Athens.
  • Large rectangular structure, consisting of rooms arranged along three sides of a perystile courtyard.
  • The main entrance was on the east side. It is probably connected with the so-called "Palace of the Giants", which in this period occupied a central place in the Ancient Agora.
  • Old Olive tree (Olea europaea) on left.
