Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Larz Anderson Auto Museum. The patented Jones Live Map Meter was an early automatic navigation aid. The meter itself was a small turntable connected to the car's odometer. It rotated the "map" disc proportionately to the distance travelled - so that the driver did not have to refer to a real 2-dimensional map.
