Description
English: Portrait painting of Laozi (also known as Lao Tzu) is a semi-legendary ancient Chinese philosopher, an extraordinary thinker who flourished during the sixth century B.C.E.

A central figure in Chinese culture, Laozi is generally considered the founder of Taoism (Daoism).
