Français : Diagnostic original : Épithélioma ulcéré du sinus pyriforme. Diagnostic actualisé : Carcinome épidermoîde. Histoire : Homme de 33 ans, cachectique, avec ouverture sus-sternale de trachéotomie et pigmentation brunâtre du cou. Le décès est vraisemblablement attribuable à une bronchopeneumonie purulente et nécrosante. Description macroscopie : Œdème très marqué de tout le larynx. Large ulcération néoplasique, détruisant la base de l'épiglotte et une partie de la base de la langue. À ce cratère est adhérent un caillot hémorragique qui se prolonge dans toute la trachée, les bronches et les bronchioles. Quelques ganglions cervicaux de la chaîne jugulaire droite sont tumérifés et envahis par le néoplasme. Description microscopie : La tumeur correspond à un carcinome épidermoïde touchant l'épiglotte ainsi que la base de la langue. Année du prélèvement : 1951.
