Description Das Schloss, es ist das Wahrzeichen der Gemeinde Langenargen. Es wurde 1861 - 1866 auf der Landzunge am Platz der Ruine der Burg Montfort als »Villa Argena« erbaut. Zahlreiche orientalische und auch maurische Einflüsse in der Architektur sind unverkennbar, da diese Architektur als Vorlage zum Bau diente. Es sollte Wilhelm I. von Württemberg als sog. Lustschloss dienen. Heute wird es für Ausstellungen, Konferenzen etc. genutzt.
