Summary
[edit]DescriptionLandwind X7, rear.jpg |
English: Place: Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Chinese name: 陆风X7 (lùfēng X7) Year of launch: 2014 Landwind is a famous Chinese manufacturer because it sold the SUV, a copy of the Isuzu MU/Amigo/Rodeo, and CV9 (Fashion/Fengshang) models in a couple of countries in Western Europe. The Landwind X6 was launched in 2007 and was an updated version of the Landwind SUV. A three-door version of the SUV/X6 is sold as Landwind X9. Moreover Landwind is (in)famous for making a copy of the Range Rover Evoque. It was actually this car, the Landwind X7, that finally moved the carmaker forward in terms of sales. Prices start at 129,800 RMB (around € 16,500), less than a third of the entry level price of a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, which is locally assembled by the Chery Jaguar Land Rover joint venture. |
