Summary
[edit]DescriptionLandslip at Cwmystwyth - geograph.org.uk - 510582.jpg |
English: Landslip at Cwmystwyth. Cwmystwyth is a village located near the top of the Ystwyth valley, which becomes very steep-sided higher upstream. The minor road hugs the slope some 30m above the river. There are several old and more recent landslips including this one just above the road. The river and minor road run along the northern edge of the square, the Nant Milwyn (57212), a tributary of the Ystwyth, runs S to NW. The SE corner of the square is high, boggy ground from which the Afon Elan (28007) is sourced. |
