Early 1905 or before. Note: Estimate on source site as 1905-1910, which seems a few years too late. This building was demolished in 1905 (per Huber's "New Orleans A Pictorial History", p. 89) to make way for the new Post Office Building, and the library moved to the Twigs building on Prytania until the new Lee Circle building opened in 1908. |
