Description
Nederlands: Boom, soms ladderboom genoemd, die tot 2017 langs de Begijnenvest te Brugge stond. Deze boom werd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog gebruikt als uitkijkpost; de restanten van de sporten die aan de stam bevestigd werden om in de boom te klimmen zijn nog zichtbaar. In september 2008 werd de top van de boom afgeknakt tijdens een storm. In 2017, enkele maanden nadat deze foto genomen werd, werd de boom verwijderd en vervangen door een nieuw boompje.
