Deutsch: Am nordwestlichen Ortseingang von Asbach steht die Kreuzsäule gegenüber dem Anwesen Lehner. Der alte Hofname des Anwesens lautet Straimer, weshalb man hier auch vom Straimerkreuz spricht. Das Fundament bildet ein Quaderstein mit Bossenwerk. Dem folgt ein glatter Stein, der nach oben hin auf allen vier Seiten großzügig gefast ist. Die hohe Säule geht bereits im unteren Teil von der vierkantigen zur sechskantigen Form über. Das pilzförmige Kapitel, auf dem das eiserne Kreuz befestigt ist, beginnt mit einem umlaufenden Wulst.
Die Kreuzsäule stand bis Ende der 1960er Jahre etwa 200 Meter nordwestlich in Richtung Leitersdorf etwa 30 Meter im Feld. Eine Änderung des Straßenverlaufs hat zu dem jetzigen Standort geführt. Die verblasste Inschrift am Sockel lautet: Errichtet von Josef Eichner, einem Vorfahren des Straimerhofes. Er lebte von 1830 bis 1903. Daraus lässt sich ableiten, dass das Kreuz schon weit über 120 Jahre alt sein dürfte. Das gusseiserne Kreuz hat Kleeblatt-Enden. Der Gekreuzigte entspricht dem Viernageltypus. Am Kreuzesstamm kauert eine kleine Figur der Maria Magdalena aus Gußeisen. |
