Summary

[edit]
Description
English: It is based on a basic chemical chemistry that only requires a metallic fuel and an oxidant. In the case of flares, this fuel is usually iron powder, although it is sometimes used in metals such as aluminum or even titanium. The oxidant is potassium nitrate, and all of it is amalgamated by a derivative of the starch called dextrin.
