La Paz desde El Alto. Do alto dos seus 4 mil metros de altitude, a caótica El Alto (daí o nome) abriga mais de 1 milhão de habitantes no altiplano andino, a grande maioria indigena e de baixa renda. E configura-se como uma cidade estratégica para as lutas sociais, já que não se pode entrar em La Paz ou sair da capital sem passar por ela.

La Paz desde El Alto. Desde sus 4 mil metros de altitud, la caótica El Alto, donde residen más de 1 millon de personas (la mayoría indígenas y pobres), despunta como una ciudad estratégica para las luchas sociales, una vez que no se puede entrar en La Paz o salir de la capital sin pasar por ella.

From its 4 thousand meters above sea level, the caothic El Alto is the home of more than one million people, mostly poor bolivian. And it rises as a strategic city for social struggles, since it is a way in and out of the capital, La Paz.
