Español: La Capilla Sixtina del Fútbol (también llamada "La Creación del Fútbol") es una obra exhibida en el club Sportivo Pereyra de Barracas, Buenos Aires, Argentina. La misma rinde homenaje a Diego Maradona y Lionel Messi junto a otras estrellas del Fútbol Argentino tales como Juan Román Riquelme, Gabriel Batistuta, Mario Kempes, Sergio Agüero, Claudio Caniggia, Ricardo Bochini y Ariel Ortega. Está inspirada en el clásico fresco "La Creación de Adán" de Miguel Ángel que se encuentra en la Capilla Sixtina del Vaticano en Roma. Fue creada en 2014 por el diseñador gráfico y artista argentino Santiago Barbeito (alias Santuke) pero recién se popularizó mundialmente en vísperas de la Copa del Mundo Rusia 2018.
English: The Sistine Chapel of Soccer (also called "The Creation of Soccer") is a work exhibited at the Sportivo Pereyra club in Barracas, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It pays tribute to Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi along with other Argentine Soccer stars such as Juan Román Riquelme, Gabriel Batistuta, Mario Kempes, Sergio Agüero, Claudio Caniggia, Ricardo Bochini and Ariel Ortega. It is inspired by Michelangelo's classic fresco "The Creation of Adam" found in the Vatican's Sistine Chapel in Rome. It was created in 2014 by the Argentine graphic designer and artist Santiago Barbeito (aka Santuke) but it became globally popular on the eve of the 2018 Russia World Cup. |
