Description U.S. Col. Patrick Ellis, Commander of 2d Cavalry Regiment, shows U.S. Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, the Noble Partner Exercise training area in the Republic of Georgia, Aug. 3, 2017. Noble Partner 2017 is a U.S. Army Europe-led exercise hosted at the Vaziani and Camp Norio training areas in Georgia. Other participating nations include Armenia, Germany, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Hodges went to various ranges in the Vaziani Training area to observe 1st Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment’s platoon live fire exercises.
