Description Marines, assigned to Law Enforcement Detachment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), frisk a detainee role player during joint service training aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) June 26, 2017. The 24th MEU is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet and U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operations.
