Description
English: Approximation schematic of a light-dependent (CdS or CdSe) resistor
  • Rd: dark (leakage) resistance (megaOhm range)
  • Rl: light (residual) resistance (hundred Ohm to a few kiloOhm)
  • Rv: idealized variable resistance, inverse proportion to illuminance
  • Cp: parasitic capacitance, a few picoFarads
